Accessibility

Last updated: July 30, 2026

We want MinervaOS to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. This statement says what we aim for, what we have actually done, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.

The standard we hold ourselves to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA across both the MinervaOS iPhone app and minervaos.app. On iOS we also follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for accessibility.

This is a target we work toward continuously, not a certification. We have not commissioned a third-party audit yet.

Known gaps

We would rather name these than imply they do not exist:

Tell us when we get it wrong

If any part of MinervaOS is not usable with the assistive technology you rely on, email support@minervaos.app. Please tell us what you were trying to do, what device and assistive technology you use, and what happened.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days. If the fix will take longer than that, we will tell you where it sits and give you the information you need in another format in the meantime, at no cost to you.
